The issue of baby seats, child car seats or booster seats is an important topic for motorists and passengers. We comply with UK regulations regarding baby seats
The current UK legislation allows for children to travel in a taxi or private hire vehicle without using a child seat when there is no correct child seat provided. The child is required to travel in the rear of the car and if they are 3 years old or older, they should wear an adult seat belt. If the child is under the age of 3, they are not required to wear a seat belt.
This means that children can travel in a Sky Airport Transfer taxi without using a child seat but we understand the importance of safety and we know that peace of mind is important for many parents. There is no additional fee for use of a baby seat with us
There is no additional fee for the use of a baby seat when you travel with Luton Airport Taxis. This is all part of the service and if we are provided with advance notice, we are more than happy to provide you with this service.
